Hello World

Hi everybody, welcome to the chronicles of my trip to Peru!

This will be the first time I’ve been in South America and I AM HYPED.

I’m writing this with a wonderful nervous feeling as I wait for my first flight of the trip. First stop is Lima, where I will be hanging out in with my co-baker Fredy’s family and exploring the capital city for 7 days.

Thanks to everyone in Portland who helped make this trip happen. Special shoutout to the Gabriel’s Bakery family, who is hooking me up with contacts and places to stay while I’m in Peru.

P.S. Be warned, most of the posts here will be food-centric. I’m planning on eating my way through towns & pushing my stomach to digest deliciously strange foods the likes of which I have never seen before.
